Linda Kapic Retirement Party

A retirement party was held Wednesday for Linda Kapic, the principal of Julia Morgan Elementary School.
Kapic, who donned a tiara she received from the staff, visited with many of her friends she worked with over the years, said Veronica Aguas, Kapic's secretary.
"Everyone was just hanging out. We had a really good time," she said.
At the party, staff enjoyed an array of fruit, finger sandwiches, cookies and brownies. Kapic was entertained with a song performed by members of the staff. Her daughter-in-law attended the party along with Kapic's new grandchildren, who are triplets. Kapic is retiring to spend time with her new grandchildren.
