World of Wonders Cement Mixer
The World of Wonders Science Museum held its Cement Mixer fundraiser June 6.
More than180 people attended and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, fine wines, a tour of the museum site and a silent auction. The museum, which is currently set to open in the fall of this year, raised more than $15,000 from the event.
Sally Snyde, president of the museum, said people enjoyed mingling and asked a lot of questions about the museum.
"Everyone was excited. It made them feel like they know for sure it's really going to happen," she said.
