Lodi Community Band performs throughout Lodi
The Lodi Community Band helped celebrate Independence Day 2008 by presenting two concerts.The first on July 3rd at Hutchins Street Square as part of the Celebrate America Program and the second on July 4th at Lodi Lake as part of the American Festival Program. Both concerts featured selections by composer Karl L. King to honor this musician whom many consider to be the successor to John Phillip Sousa.
Future LCB concerts are scheduled for Monday for an RV club gathering at the Grape Festival grounds, September 7th at Hutchins Street Square for a Concert in The Park and September 13th during the Grape Festival in the main pavilion building. All concerts are free to the public.
