Soroptimist noon club installed 2008-09 officers
Soroptimist International of Lodi held its installation on May 27th at Avenue Grill. The installation was based on a 50’s theme and the members were dressed in 50’s attire with music of that era playing in the background. The menu included hamburgers, french fries and milk shakes.
The Soroptimist Mission Statemen is “Improving the Lives of Women and Girls in Local Communities and throughout the World.”
The slate of officers installed included Barbara Warburton, president; Susan Goad, vice-president; Pam Barghoorn, recording secretary; Pat Hill, corresponding secretary;
Bernice Schmiedt, treasurer; Sharon Blaufus, assistant treasurer; Bev Lacy, one year director; and Sue Brazil, two year director.
President Barbara Warburton was installed by Beverly Lacy.
