Peggy Krienke
Enjoyed caring for her family
Peggy Lou Krienke, 89, of Lodi, died on Aug. 30. She was born Peggy Lou Meyer on Nov. 2, 1918, in Chicago, Illinois.
Mrs. Krienke was married at the age of 23 to Calvin Orien Krienke and in 1960 they moved to Lodi. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, canning, sewing, reading novels and shopping.
She is survived by her daughters, Meredith Krienke and Sally Luntao, both of Lodi; sons, Calvin Krienke, of Walnut Grove, and David Krienke, of Sacramento; brother, James Meyer, of Torrance; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Orien Krienke; daughter, Susan Kanode; brother, Don Meyer; and sister, Merle Gilmore.
Per her request, there will be no services.
