On the Reynolds Ranch development being on hold due to proposed changes:

"This project shouldn't have been approved in the first place, and wouldn't have if it weren't Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the many great local jobs it brings. This development was entirely different from the original brought to the table and the time when it was approved by city council. Many of the residential densities and other infrastructure items were completely altered, and council — (Susan) Hitchcock — brought this fact up, yet the same three votes were instrumental in voting for it anyway — (John) Beckman, (Bob) Johnson and (Larry) Hansen." — TandC

"We do need a new EIR (environmental impact report). We have two-lane Harney Lane, which may be four lanes many years away, a two-lane frontage road and two-lane Armstrong Road that are suppose to handle these 50,000 daily (vehicle) trips." — sam

"My only objection to the project is the low density residential — valuable farm resources were given up, the best use is to accommodate as many people as possible. I wonder why the developer was allowed to present the changes without an updated EIR?" — ccinlodi

"The problem of the extra traffic generated in the new proposed Reynolds Ranch development can easily be alleviated. Make Stockton Street a four-lane road and connect it to Micke Grove Road, which in turn is eventually going to connect with Holden. We will have another major north-south roadway, like West Lane and Lower Sacramento Road. This will alleviate a considerable amount of traffic backup in Lodi." — Zinfandel
