Lisa Ferrero
Sport: Golf
High School: Lodi High
Pro: Duramed Futures Tour
Ferrero shot a final-round 1-over 73 and finished tied for eighth in the Futures Classic on Sunday at the Richmond Country Club in Richmond, Va. Ferrero shot a 69-71-73—213 in the three-day tournament and earned $2,043. She is currently 16th on the money list with $19,888 in earnings for the year and is 10th in scoring average (72.56), 16th in sub-par rounds (16 out of 46), 13th in average driving distance (246 yards) and ninth in birdies (119).
David Cooper

Pro: Dunedin Blue Jays
The left-handed first baseman is hitting .244 with one home run, three doubles, seven RBIs and three runs scored in 12 games with the Blue Jays, an advanced Class-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays in the Florida State League. He went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs with one run scored in a 8-6 win over Lakeland in his debut on Aug. 9 and then went 1-for-4 in a 7-2 win over Fort Myers last Monday. Cooper was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in a 9-2 win over Fort Myers on Tuesday. He went 1-for-4 in a 5-1 win over Sarasota on Friday. Cooper was 1-for-4 in a 5-2 loss to Clearwater on Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader, and then finished 1-for-2 with a double, walk and RBI in a 8-1 win over Clearwater in the nightcap.
Jason Bartlett

High School: St. Mary's High
Pro: Tampa Bay Rays
The starting shortstop went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI and a run scored in Tampa's 2-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics last Tuesday. Bartlett went 4-for-11 with a double over the weekend in a three-game series with the Texas Rangers on the road and is currently batting .266 for the season. The Rays (75-48) remain in first place in the American League East standings, 4 1/2 games ahead of the Boston Red Sox and 9 1/2 games in front of the New York Yankees.

Pro: Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
The right-handed reliever is 3-3 with four saves and a 3.69 ERA in 30 appearances for the Timber Rattlers, a Class-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. He did not appear in any games last week.

Pro: Tulsa Drillers
he right-handed reliever is 2-3 with a team-high 14 saves and a 3.20 ERA in 51 appearances for the Drillers, a Class-AA affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. He struck out one and recorded a save in one inning of relief in Tulsa's 7-4 victory over Midland on Wednesday.
Zach Phillips

Pro: Bakersfield Blaze
The left-handed starter is 7-8 with a 6.24 ERA in 25 starts for the Blaze, a Single-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Phillips picked up a no-decision in Wednesday's 9-4 loss to the Stockton Ports. He gave up three runs on five hits (3 Ks, 4 BBs) in five innings of work.
