Mabel Chaparro
Home health care aid
Mabel Rosetta Chaparro, 68, of Lodi, died on August 7. She was born on April 30, 1940, in Stockton.
Mrs. Chaparro worked as a waitress and later as a home health care aid. She lived the last four years in Lodi. Mrs. Chaparro enjoyed spending time with her family, reading the Bible, listening to gospel music and watching NASCAR.
Mrs. Chaparro is survived by her husband of 39 years, Max Chaparro, of Lodi; daughter, Lisa Brandt, of Lodi; sisters, Virginia Childress and Judy Pike, both of Stockton, Wanda Stacher, of Jackson, Velma Jo Cash, of Redding, Loretta Aljets, of Oklahoma, and Mary Hansen, of Manteca; brother, Larry Snow, of Manteca; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Mae Rhodes-Loftis; brothers, Carl Snow and Hank Snow; sisters, Jerry Snow, Betty Laughlin and Evelyn Raynor; and great-grandson, Arron Jacob Livings.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee memorial Park, Highway 99 at E. Harney Lane, Lodi. Committal will be private and there will be no visitation.
