In the 24 hours after 11 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department handled 161 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:

Friday

Domestic Dispute

12:09 a.m.: Two juveniles were involved in a domestic argument on South Sacramento Street.

Grand Theft

7:23 a.m.: Several items, valued at more than $400, were stolen from a boat in the 1500 lock of West Tokay Street.

Check Fraud

8:18 a.m.: Someone tried to cash forged Lodi Memorial Hospital checks in the Los Angeles area. The checks were not legitimate, and did not appear to have names of any current or former employees, according to police.

Thursday

Threats

11:19 a.m.: A student made threats at Lawrence School, 721 Calaveras St.

Computer Theft

2:09 p.m.: Someone apparently opened a rear sliding door on a home in the 2200 block of West Elm Street and stole a computer.

Thrasher

3:04 p.m.: A roommate was "thrashing" a house in the 400 block of Palomar Drive.

Drunken Man

3:33 p.m.: A man with a shopping cart was lying on the ground in the 600 block of East Lockeford Street. He was arrested for public intoxication.

Unruly Juvenile

4:03 p.m.: An out-of-control juvenile was trying to set the family's Aspen Grove Drive house on fire. Police arrived and arrested someone on a warrant.

Phone Threat

4:36 p.m.: A juvenile made a telephone threat to kill a boy and his friend on Almond Drive.

Motorcycle vs. car

5:01 p.m.: Minor injuries were reported when a motorcycle and a tan Honda Civic collided in the Wal-Mart parking lot, 2350 W. Kettleman Lane.

Drunken argument starter

5:04 p.m.: A drunken man was starting an argument in the 1000 block of South Central Ave. He was arrested on a warrant.

Bicycle Throwers

5:45 p.m.: Two males threw a bicycle into a Woodrow Street garage, damaging a car in the process. The incident was related to a gang fight, in which someone had a knife.

Locked Out

6:37 p.m.: A male's ex-girlfriend changed the locks, thus locking him out of the residence at Tokay Villa Apartments, 1720 S. Hutchins St. Then he was arguing with the neighbors.

Lost elderly woman

9:03 p.m.: An older woman with a walker was lost and confused at Lowe's, 1389 S. Lower Sacramento Road.

Cussing Person

9:08 p.m.: A resident in the 2200 block of West Elm Street was yelling obscenities.

Falling Man

10:49 p.m.: A bald, possibly drunken man kept falling at Lodi Hotel, 7 S. School St.
