McAlexander, Cohrs engaged

Jeff McAlexander and Chelsea Cohrs, both of Seattle, Wash., were engaged in February.
McAlexander graduated from Lodi High School in 2002, and then from the University of Washington with a degree in business finance in 2006. He is employed by Marsh and McLennan Companies. He is the son of Mike and Cindy McAlexander, of Vancouver, Wash.
Cohrs graduated from Jefferson High School in 2002, and then from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University with a degree in biology and a pre-med degree. She is employed by Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. She is the daughter of Mike and Ginny Cohrs, of Alexandria, Minn.
The couple met in a coffee shop. They were engaged on Feb. 14 on Alki Beach in Seattle, Wash. While enjoying a scenic view of the city lights, McAlexander recited a poem and dropped to one knee and proposed. They announced their engagement on Feb. 15 by calling family and friends.
The two plan to marry on Dec. 22 on the beach of Anna Maria Island in Florida.
