Suspect in Nevada murder arrested in Lodi
A suspect in the 2004 shooting death of a man in Sparks has been arrested in Lodi, officers said.
German Rios, 26, was arrested without incident Thursday at a Lodi construction site by U.S. marshals, Sparks police said.
Rios was a Sparks resident when he was accused of fatally shooting Juan Antonio Martinez during an argument. The victim was found on Greenbrae Drive.
Sparks police detectives have notified Martinez's family of the arrest, and were in California interviewing Rios, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported.
Rios is being held without bail in the San Joaquin County Jail pending extradition hearings to return him to Nevada.
