Neva Liddell
Business owner
Neva Sue Liddell, 50, of Galt, died on July 22 after a long illness. She was born Neva Sue Wilborn on Nov. 22, 1957, in Fresno.
Mrs. Liddell grew up in Fresno, and after marrying Brad Liddell moved to Sacramento, and eventually settled in Galt. She worked for the Sacramento County Office of Education, drove a school bus and worked with special-needs children. She later worked and served as president of their Classic Awards and Trophy Company. Neva enjoyed being a mother and grandmother, spending her time with family and helping others.
Neva is survived by her husband of 35 years, Brad Liddell, of Galt; daughters, Nanette Liddell, Jennifer Liddell and Kristen Liddell; mother, Beverly Wilborn; sister, Jo Ann (Wilborn); brother, Jack Wilborn; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Wilborn.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Horizon Community Church, Galt. Committal will be private and there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Community church, 446 Fairway Drive, Galt, CA 95632.
