Leonard Cruz
Enjoyed fishing
Leonard Cruz, 78, of Galt, died on July 22. He was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Flint, Michigan.
Mr. Cruz moved to Galt in 1992. Prior to settling in Galt, he lived in Covina for 19 years, Fresno and San Antonio, Texas. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Cruz, of Galt; daughter, Dee Hixon, of Galt; sister, Angie Oftedal, of Fresno; and three granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14052 S. Lincoln Way, Galt. Committal will be private at Galt Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
