Morada wins 11-12 baseball championship

The Morada Little League 11-12 All-Star baseball team defeated Hoover-Tyler 11-3 on Tuesday night in the District 8 championship game.
Morada went undefeated in the tournament for the second straight season and has won the title seven of the last 10 years.
Bailey Hughes had two hits and two RBIs for Morada and Jaden Alsop also drove in two runs. Tyler Cipponeri picked up the save in relief of winning pitcher Taylor Johnson.
Morada advanced to the Section 6 tournament, which begins next week in Taft.
