Russell Johnson
Business owner
Russell Keith Johnson, 49, of Livermore and Acampo, died June 12. He was born July 10, 1958, in Fortuna.
Mr. Johnson and his family moved to Pleasanton in 1971, where he graduated from Amador High School in 1976. He married MariAnn Finch in 1979 and they moved to Livermore in 1980.
Mr. Johnson and his wife owned and operated Russ' Pizza Parlor in Livermore from 1980 to 2003, and for the last four years he was a truck driver. He recently moved to Acampo with his wife. He enjoyed water skiing and dirt bikes and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association, racing in district 36. He also enjoyed being a husband and father and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, MariAnn Johnson; son, Kenny Johnson; daughters, Nikki Johnson and Lynn Johnson; parents, James and Kaye (Trapier) Johnson; brothers, Larry Johnson and Shawn Johnson; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at The Home Church, 11451 N. West Lane, between Eight Mile Road and Ham Lane, Lodi. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
