Goals for the next 10 years: Graduate with a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and then go on to solve the world's energy problem.

College or job plans: college: The University of California, Berkeley (The best engineering school this side of the Mississippi) Go Bears!

Job plans: Work for Apple or possibly Disney as a Disney Imagineer.

Clubs and activities: Varsity water polo, captain; California Scholarship Federation, president; SkillsUSA, president; Academic Decathlon, co-captain; Nerds' Club.

Most memorable experience: Placing second at the national competition for mechanical drafting in Kansas City, Mo., June 2007.

Goals for the next 10 years: I plan to get my (master's of business administration) and get a job at a Web-based company.

College or job plans: I will be attending (University of California, Berkeley) where I plan to major in business administration and minor in economics.

Clubs and activities: Nerds' Club, Junkyard Wars Club, Science Olympiad, California Scholarship Federation, Storm Drain Detectives, feeding the homeless.

Most memorable experience: Winning a local Call of Duty 4 tournament.

Goals for the next 10 years: Attending (Brigham Young University), Provo in the fall (major undecided). Hope to go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I am 21. Will hopefully be married in 10 years.

College or job plans: Attend (Brigham Young University) and work part time.

Most memorable experience: Scoring 18 points in the second half of a basketball game, while I had mono, to beat Tokay.

College or job plans: Attend the Smittcamp Family Honors College at California State University, Fresno and major in engineering.

Most memorable experience: Standing on the top of Mount Lassen with my dad in the middle of a thunder storm on Sept. 11, 2001.

Goals for the next 10 years: Graduate from (University of California, Davis) with honors with a bachelor's of science degree in biomedical engineering and possibly get a master's degree.

Then, I plan on attending medical school to become a doctor, but I'm not sure yet what field I want to work in as a doctor.

College or job plans: (University of California, Davis), become a biodedical engineer, doctor or a teacher.

Most memorable experience: Making playoffs my senior year of varsity baseball.
