Nancy Gaede

Nancy Darlene Gaede, 66, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died May 16, at home. She was born Oct. 10, 1941, and grew up in Oklahoma and Lodi.
Ms. Gaede attended Lodi Academy before moving to Angwin, where she graduated from Pacific Union Preparatory School with a bachelor's degree. While attending Pacific Union College, she met and later married Archie McCluskey. They then moved to Oregon, where she taught secretarial and shorthand at Laurelwood Academy. The family moved to Lincoln, Neb. for a short time before returning to Oregon, where they owned and operated a print shop. They later owned a print shop in Roseville before moving to Napa.
Ms. Gaede was a secretary for the Napa Seventh-day Adventist Church and a member of English Oaks S.D.A. Church in Lodi. She returned to Lodi and Stockton in 2005 to be near her daughter in 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Nickels, of Stockton; son, Randall (Mack) McCluskey, of Auburn; brother, Kenneth Gaede, of Santa Rosa; and sister, Cheryl Redound, of San Anselmo.
Services are pending and inurnment will be private at the St. Helena Cemetery, St. Helena.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
