Wright, Huff wed last October

Michael Wright and Elizabeth Huff, both of Lodi, were married last October.
Wright graduated from Tokay High School in 1998. He served full-time in the United States Air Force for six years and then graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor of science degree in management of technical operations in 2005. He is employed by Redline PDM. He is the son of Arlin "Butch" Sr. and Celia Wright, of Lodi.
Huff graduated from Lodi High School in 2000. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelor of arts degree in child development in 2003, and then from National University with a masters degree in education in 2006. She is employed at Lawrence School. She is the daughter of Steven and Sondra Huff, of Woodbridge.
The couple was married on Oct. 5, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin Brown officiating. A special reading was done by Alexandra Higgins, of New York City, N.Y., family friend of the bride. Soloist Shannon McElligott, of Woodbridge, sang "You Raise Me Up," and "The Prayer," a duet with Benjamin Gibson. A prayer was given by Morgan and Maggie Quiroz, of San Jose, friends of the bride and groom. The reception was held in Kirst Hall at Hutchins Street Square.
The bride wore a strapless diamond white Augusta Jones gown with a shirred bodice and train embellished with pearls, rhinestones and Swarkovski crystals. Her veil was chapel length with a blusher. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis along with three calla lilies in memory of her late grandparents.
The best man was Arlin "Butch" Wright Jr., of Sacramento, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Jason Wright and Jeffrey Wright, both of Lodi and brothers of the groom; Bradley Castelanelli, of Lodi, friend of the groom; Captain Ryan Hastings, of Fort Irwin, brother of the bride; and the junior groomsman was Alec Hastings, of Fort Irwin, nephew of the bride.
The maid of honor was Erin Hopps, of Lodi, friend of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Jennifer Young and Lauren Bridewell, both of Lodi and lifelong friends of the bride; Melissa Ato, of Turlock, friend of the bride; Valerie Hastings, of Fort Irwin, sister-in-law of the bride; and the junior bridesmaid was Maya Hastings, of Fort Irwin, niece of the bride.
The flower girls were Amaya Ato, of Turlock, Ashly Gomez, of Ripon and Vanessa DeValle, of Lockeford, all friends of the bride and groom. The ring bearer was Steven Hastings, of Fort Irwin, nephew of the bride. The guest book and gift attendants were Sarah Islas and Alison Gibson, both of Woodbridge and friends of the bride and groom. The ushers were Armando Ayala, of Stockton and Benjamin Gibson, of Woodbridge, both friends of the bride and groom. The candle lighter was Michelle Pereira, of Sacramento, friend of the bride, and the wedding coordinator was Jessica Dwyer, sister-in-law of the groom.
Special guests included Nancy Huff, of Stockton, grandmother of the bride; Bob and Sandy McCutcheon, of Huntsville, Ala., lifelong friends of the bride; and many aunts and a cousin of the groom, who traveled from the Midwest.
The couple spent their honeymoon in St. Lucia, British Virgin Islands and have made their home in Lodi.
