Judith Mobbs
Woodbridge Community Church member
Judith Marie Mobbs, 63, of Acampo, died May 6 in a local hospital. She was born on March 26, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Mrs. Mobbs resided in Acampo for the last 41 years. She worked for General Mills and was later employed with Mondavi Winery, having a combined employment of over 40 years. She was a member of the Woodbridge Community Church and active in the Women's Ministry. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and ceramics.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon L. Mobbs, of Acampo; daughters, Leanna Mobbs, of Stockton, Vickie Jenkins, of Reno, Nev., Sherry Preston, of Stockton, Debbie Mobbs, of Modesto, Verna Badasci, of Madera, and Diane Orozco, of Galt; sons, Royal Mobbs and Tim Mobbs, both of Acampo, and David Mobbs, of Fort Smith, Ark.; sisters, Carol Coburn, of Minn., and Adelia "Dea" Moore, of Va.; brother, Bud Moen, of Minn.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lodi Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Sammie P. Walls officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi.
