The senior DE was named to the All-Great West Football Conference first team for a second straight season. He finished the year with 55 tackles and a team-high seven sacks in 11 games. He also had three pass break-ups, two forced fumbles and a safety.

The Bruins have reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament with victories over Cal St. Fullerton (3-1), Oklahoma State (4-0) and Virginia (2-1 in overtime). Cook, a starting sophomore defender, and the Bruins will take on Portland this Friday.
