On teens who pull pranks while driving:

"Me and my friends did all sorts of stupid things when we first got our licenses and, as a result, one of those friends didn't make it to see 18. I think about him every now and then and I wonder what he would be doing today, who he would have married and what his kids would have looked like." — Leonard

"And these are the kids who whine that we don't treat them like 'adults'?" — Otis Yellowcloud

"Raising the driving age to 18 will not only reduce immature behavior behind the wheel, but also reduce traffic for those of us living near the schools. It will make parents responsible for getting their child to school on time, forcing them into carpooling situations, which reduces traffic. High schools can also redevelop their student parking lots to provide room for additional portable classrooms until the district can get their act together and put up real schools." — No Entitlements

"I can't believe people are getting this upset. I'm a mom of a Lodi High student and I couldn't stop laughing when I heard this. People need to loosen up; it's harmless fun!" — WOW!!

On Sunday's Street Faire in Lodi:

"The huge No Dogs Allowed sign was an instant turn off! I walked to the non-profit booth I wanted to visit and went straight home for a lunch of left overs. Saved my self $10 at least! If my miniature doxie isn't welcome than you aren't going to get my $$$." — Joe Silva, Sr.

"I agree, no dogs! I want a safe, fun day with no dog crap or sniffing pets." — Landlover

"We saw numerous people ignoring the signs. If this is not enforced the signs should not be up. We have a dog but I was brought up to read and follow rules. If people would clean up after their dogs and make them obey I see no reason why they would not be allowed. If you can't leave your dog home for a few hours then don't come." — Signal Oil Collector

"It is a public street so, just as any normal day, a dog should be allowed. As far as people not liking dogs, well, I don't like antiques and they are still there." — YorkieLover
