In the 24 hours since 9 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department handled 161 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers.

Monday

10:42 a.m.: A garbage can was filled with possibly stolen purses at Cottage Bakery, 1831 S. Stockton St.

11:27 a.m.: A male and female were fighting in the 400 block of West Locust Street, and the female possibly had a knife.

11:44 a.m.: Three boys stole a woman's purse at Lodi Lake, 1301 W. Turner Road, and ran over a fence and through yards. Three juveniles were ultimately arrested.

3:36 p.m.: Surveillance cameras were stolen in the 800 block of Virginia Avenue.

3:42 p.m.: A curly-haired man was in the intersection of Lockeford and Stockton streets, and he was refusing to move for passing vehicles.

4:20 p.m.: Someone found a large amount of Sudafed in a storage unit near Pine and Stockton streets.

4:51 p.m.: Three boys stole a Gerard Street sign and were last seen walking west on Lockeford Street from Ham Lane.

4:53 p.m.: Minor injuries were reported after a vehicle collision in front of Habanero Hots, 1024 Victor Road.

5:46 p.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 2000 block of West Elm Street.

6:37 p.m.: A vehicle hit a gas meter in an alley near the 400 block of Eden Street.

9:38 p.m.: A purse valued at more than $400 was stolen at 24-Hour Fitness System, 512 N. Cherokee Lane.

11:43 p.m.: Neighbors in the 100 block of Swain Drive got into an argument regarding cats.

Tuesday

12:26 a.m.: A drunken driver was involved in a vehicle collision in the 500 block of East Lockeford Street.

7:36 a.m.: A backhoe was stolen from a construction site on Beckman Road just north of Kettleman Lane.

8:13 a.m.: Someone stole property from J&J Heating and Air, 334 N. Main St.
