Lodi Police Department
In the 24 hours since 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 140 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Tuesday
10:51 a.m.: Cash and checks totaling more than $400 were stolen from Western Dental, 320 S. Cherokee Lane.
12:39 p.m.: People got into a fight at Lodi High School, 3 S. Pacific Ave.
1:07 p.m.: Someone threw concrete through a window of the Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St., the previous night.
1:57 p.m.: A 27-year-old woman was arrested after using someone else's identification at Washington Mutual Bank, 2445 W. Kettleman Lane.
2:39 p.m.: A Sylvan Way woman said the state government is abusing her, drugging her, making her violent, breaking into her house and accessing her bank accounts.
4:05 p.m.: A used car lot was being run without a business license at Lodi Avenue and Hutchins Street.
4:51 p.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 700 block of Delores Street.
5:32 p.m.: Tools were stolen from a vehicle at Lowe's, 1389 S. Lower Sacramento Road.
5:48 p.m.: Someone burglarized a home in the 1500 block of South School Street.
5:53 p.m.: Two shirtless men were fighting at Hale Park, 208 E. Locust St.
6:54 p.m.: A man was driving a go-cart and verbally harassing a female at Mervyns, 530 W. Kettleman Lane.
11:21 p.m.: Several men got into a fight outside Garry's Lounge, 13 S. School St.
Wednesday
1:41 a.m.: A woman threatened to stab another woman at Lodi and Crescent avenues.
2:55 a.m.: A white Saturn was being driven at 90 mph north on Lower Sacramento Road near Tokay Street.
5:27 a.m.: As happens every morning in the 300 block of Eden Street, a horn was honking.
6 a.m.: Someone stole a red four-door 1997 Honda Accord in the 1000 block of South Washington Street.
7:15 a.m.: Three girls ran away from a north Lodi group home.
8:19 a.m.: A home was burglarized in the 2400 block of Tejon Street.
