In the 24 hours since 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 170 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Tuesday
9:40 a.m.: Two transients were sleeping in a white Lexus in the 1800 block of South Cherokee Lane. In the process, someone was arrested on a local warrant.
10:47 a.m.: A man misplaced his van on Calaveras Street.
11:15 a.m.: A news crew was trespassing in the 500 block of Olive Court. Police found the crew filming on public property.
11:21 a.m.: Dublin police officers served a warrant in the 400 block of West Lockeford Street, looking for bank documents.
1:15 p.m.: After telling a female he was going to rape her, a male left Wimbledon Square Apartments, 602 Wimbledon Drive.
1:32 p.m.: A female in a black shirt and black stretch pants tried to hit a female who was holding a baby in the 300 block of Eden Street.
3:15 p.m.: A Lebec Court resident's identity was stolen and used to gain more than $400.
3:56 p.m.: A gun was either lost or stolen in the 900 block of Elliot Place.
3:57 p.m.: Nobody was injured when a vehicle broke a railroad crossing arm on Lockeford Street.
4:47 p.m.: Juveniles were jumping into the drainage canal near Mills Avenue and Tienda Drive.
5:09 p.m.: A ring valued at more than $400 was stolen at Woodlake Place, 2401 Eilers Lane.
5:13 p.m.: Someone trapped a bat in a bucket inside Golden Era Hotel, 18 S. Main St.
6:55 p.m.: A green 2000 four-door Honda Accord was stolen while it was "warming up" at Tobacco City, 550 S. Cherokee Lane.
7:27 p.m.: An employee was arrested for embezzlement at Mervyns, 530 W. Kettleman Lane.
8:30 p.m.: A drunken man was out of control in Jack's Back Sports Bar, 31 N. Sacramento St.
8:41 p.m.: A pit bull attacked a dog in the 700 block of North California Street.
9:25 p.m.: A 24-year-old parolee hit his mother with his fist in the 300 block of Cypress Street.
Wednesday
1:50 a.m.: Someone burglarized a residence in the 2300 block of Eilers Lane.
1:59 a.m.: Four people were fighting at O'Riley's Pub, 211 S. Cherokee Lane.
