Katzakian races to first Stars win
Lodi's Colin Katzakian raced to victory in a Snap-On Stars of Karting Western Division event last weekend at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
Racing in the Spec Racer series, Katzakian, who started on the pole, took the lead on the eighth lap when two drivers in front of him bumped, allowing him to move to the front of the pack.
Katzakian, who recently returned to the track after a two-year absence, never relinquished the lead, earning his first-ever Stars win and a trip to the victory podium.
Katzakian will race in Palm Springs later this month.
