Alex Herrera
Alex C. Herrera, 64, of Woodbridge, and formerly of Dixon, died on June 16 at a local hospital. He was born on June 11, 1943, in Torreon, Coahilla, Mexico.
Mr. Herrera worked as a local handyman for many years before retiring in 2005.
He is survived by sons, Alex Herrera Jr. of Woodbridge, Johnny Herrera, of Hemet, and David Herrera of Woodland; daughter, Felicia Herrera, of Elk Grove; brothers, Trinidad Herrera of Dixon, George, Victor, and Sylvester Herrera, all of Sacramento; sisters, Rosemarie Ash of Dixon, Delia Navarro of Woodland, Lilly Herrera, Lupe Cruz, Rita Moreno, Anita Mendez and Linda Ruiz, all of Sacramento; and 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ernie Herrera, in 2005.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Dixon United Methodist Church, followed by a private interment.
Arrangements were by the Lodi Funeral Home.
