On an undercover alcohol sting in Lodi:
"Keep up the good work! I think there should be major jail time for these perps! At least one year jail and $10,000 fine that would go to youth programs!" — GovAgent
"Very sad to read that a fairly new business, Smart & Final, would do such a thing as to sell alcohol to minors. I haven't patronized their store yet, but I hear it's a good place to shop. How many Lodians will rethink doing business with the above mentioned stores knowing that they sell alcohol to minors?" — Very sad
"If a store has good prices and is a good place to shop then what they do with other customers doesn't matter. Unless its directly affecting me and mine then I'm going to continue shopping there." — scuba steve
"What if you are the one hit by the teen driver that's drunk from all that booze they got a hold of? Do you still think it doesn't matter to you?" — to scuba steve
"As long as the company fired the employee who sold to minors then there is no reason to boycott." — Scuba
"Most want to hang the teenagers for getting the booze and getting drunk, but it's the adults that supply the booze. Adults and parents need to take responsibility for this and be charged with a crime and actually get more than a slap on the wrist. People get outraged at teenage drinking but they need to look in the mirror!" — adult
On whales in the Sacramento River:
"My wife and I took our kids and a couple of our son's friends to the Port of Sacramento. Let me tell you, it was a great experience for all. We took some video and we know that our children will have stories to tell future generations about when Delta and Dawn visited the Sacramento River!" — jqq
"Let's hope this story comes to a happy ending. People need to stay clear of the rescue process and a few prayers wouldn't hurt the ones who are there to help. Hoping and praying all goes well with the mother and her calf." — TS
