Sports Shorts
Kwiatkowski nails down title
Tokay High's Erica Kwiatkowski won her third consecutive Sac-Joaquin South Subsection varsity girls diving title with a total score of 365.90 on Thursday at Johansen High. Lodi's Amanda Carter placed second (333.85) and Tokay's Caitlin Dowell took fourth (277.90). Kwiatkowski, Carter and Dowell all advanced to the finals, which will be held on Saturday at Johansen.
Lodi's Jordan Kissinger took 14th (189.70).
For the junior varsity girls, Tokay's Alyssa Musto finished third (275.25) and Lodi's Corinne Dickey took fourth (250.05), both advancing to the finals. Tokay's Amanda Warburton finished 10th (235.85) and Lodi's Shaynna Hockett placed 11th (221.40).
The boys meet will be held today at Johansen.

Union Mine 2, Galt 1
Elise Fry pitched a complete game with five strikeouts but the Warriors (14-8, 9-2 Sierra Valley Conference lost in nine innings. Kim Briggs was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Dommi Perry had two hits.

Tokay 6, St. Mary's 1
Jerika Senecal allowed three hits and struck out 13 in the complete-game victory. She also tripled, singled and drove in three runs. Shelby Deleon had a triple and an RBI and Michele Poteet, Devyn Michelotti and Olympia Lopez each single.
Golf
Women's 18-Hole
Carolyn Hoff won the 2007 Handicap Tournament at Woodbridge Country Club. She shot rounds of 74, 70 and 68 for a total score of 212.
Rita Kooyman won the first flight (223), while Dianne Wheeler finished second (227) and Randi Schimke placed third (231).
Joanne Ichimura took the second flight (222), Barbara Keller won the third flight (219) and Beverly Stroh won the fourth flight (228).

Freshmen
Tracy 16, Lodi 2
James Suegav was 2-for-3 for the Flames (7-9, 2-4 SJAA). Coltin Fountain was 1-for-2, Shane Chavez went 1-for-3, Chad Holley was 1-for-4 with an RBI and Casey Gapol was 1-for-4.
West 11, Tokay 7
Seth Mitchell had a double, single and two RBIs for the Tigers. Alex LeCocq and Jake Costa each singled and scored a run and Joey Hohn had an RBI and a run. Connor Gardner scored twice. Jordan Davis and Dylan Waugh each drove in a run and Vincent Rogee and Matt Miles each scored a run.

Track and Field
Varsity Boys
Lodi 73, Lincoln 63
Will Routt won the 800 (2:01.14), the 1600 (4:49.47) and the 3200 (10:43.84) as the Flames finished the league dual meet season 5-0. Lodi will compete in the SJAA meet next Wednesday and Friday at Lincoln High.
Lodi's frosh-soph team (3-2 SJAA) lost 90-46.
Varsity Girls
Lodi 90, Lincoln 46
Chelsea Panzarello won the high jump (5-0), long jump (16-2 1/2) and the triple jump (36-10) as the Flames improved to 5-0 in SJAA meets. Jillian Carli was first in the 1600 (5:52.62) and the 3200 (12:49.6) and Samantha Balentine won the 100 hurdles (15.36) and the 300 hurdles (47.32).
Lodi's frosh-soph team (3-2 SJAA) lost 77-56.
