In the 24 hours since 9 a.m. Sunday, the Lodi Police Department handled 125 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Sunday
9:48 a.m.: A drunken man was yelling at passing vehicles in the 2200 block of Newbury Circle.
10:36 a.m.: Someone stole a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass at Creekside South Apartments, 601 Wimbledon Drive.
1:25 p.m.: People were involved in a dispute over a table and chairs at Peterson Park, 116 Evergreen Drive.
2:41 p.m.: After yelling at a male pedestrian who was wearing blue near Turner Road and Sacramento Street, the occupants of a dirty white van: who were wearing red: left the area.
7:14 p.m.: A man in dark shorts and a white shirt was starting a fight in the emergency room at Lodi Memorial Hospital, 975 S. Fairmont Ave.
7:36 p.m.: Nine shots were heard in an alley off the 400 block of East Lodi Avenue, but nothing was seen.
10:40 p.m.: A South Sacramento Street woman hit her husband with a clock. A rifle was in the house, so a witness fled the building.
Monday
2:10 a.m.: A man was wearing a bandana over his face while in the parking lot of Denny's Restaurant, 701 E. Kettleman Lane.
3:08 a.m.: An hour after causing trouble at O'Riley's Pub, 211 S. Cherokee Lane, a drunken woman was banging on the door and making threats.
8:41 a.m.: After a dispute over child custody, a West Locust Street woman drove away with her husband hanging out of the car, causing him to hit his head.
