In the 48 hours since 9 a.m. Saturday, the Lodi Police Department handled 334 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Saturday
11:26 a.m.: A James Street woman's ex took all of her belongings to Good Will.
12:01 p.m.: People were stopping in a red zone for a yard sale, which was also playing loud music, near Ham Lane and Lodi Avenue.
12:06 p.m.: A motorcycle rider had a 3-year-old girl without a helmet on Rutledge Drive near Klamath Court.
3:28 p.m.: The bald driver of a light brown sedan was ignoring stop signs as he headed north on Sacramento Street from Park Street.
4:03 p.m.: Five juveniles were trying to break into the back of the former Sunset Theater, 1118 W. Lodi Ave.
4:18 p.m.: A female employee and a male customer were fighting at metro Wireless, 306 N. Ham Lane. Someone was arrested on a local warrant after police sorted out the matter.
6:07 p.m.: Four small children were running in and out of traffic in the 2100 block of Newbury Circle.
7:01 p.m.: About 20 juveniles were loitering and possibly drinking at Woodbridge Middle School, 1220 Lilac St.
7:17 p.m.: A man was trying to break into his ex-girlfriend's Maple Street apartment.
9:23 p.m.: After hitting a bartender, a suspect left Sky's, 116 W. Turner Road, in a four-door Nissan.
10:02 p.m.: Vehicles were driving recklessly in the Grape Bowl parking lot near Calaveras Street, and one car may have hit another.
10:58 p.m.: Acampo Machine Works, 930 S. Sacramento St., was burglarized.
Sunday
1:27 a.m.: Two possibly drunken juveniles were hanging out on a sidewalk long past curfew at Locust and Rose streets.
7:50 a.m.: Someone stole a black 1992 Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck in the 300 block of Culbertson Drive.
8:38 a.m.: Tires and rims valued at more than $400 were stolen at Tokay Villa Apartments, 1720 S. Hutchins St.
10:06 a.m.: A garage was burglarized in the 300 block of East Walnut Street.
12:33 p.m.: Items valued at more than $400 were stolen from the yard at AG Industrial, 110 S. Beckman Road.
1:22 p.m.: Two people were lying in the Burger King parking lot, 230 N. Cherokee Lane. In the process of investigating, someone was arrested on a local warrant.
2:02 p.m.: A baby was left alone inside a silver Ford Taurus parked at Albertson's, 530 W. Lodi Ave.
2:08 p.m.: Injuries were reported in a vehicle collision at Vine and Hutchins streets.
3:43 p.m.: Two girls on skateboards, along with a boy, damaged signs and stole a poster at Stadium 12, 109 N. School St. They were then sitting on a bench near the flag pole, still holding the poster.
4:30 p.m.: After being detained for stealing less than $20 worth of merchandise at Food-4-Less, 2430 W. Kettleman Lane, a handcuffed juvenile was fighting with security.
5:45 p.m.: Another shoplifter was fighting with security. This time, the adult male suspect had taken more than $50 worth of goods from Big Kmart, 520 S. Cherokee Lane.
9:27 p.m.: A man was trying to sell computer parts in the alley near Jack-in-the-Box, 419 W. Lodi Ave.
Monday
5:16 a.m.: Cars were egged in the 200 block of Meadowlark Way.
8:06 a.m.: A possibly drunken female was carrying a dog while walking in the 1100 block of South Mills Avenue.
