Banker Patrick Coon gets promotion
Woodbridge resident Patrick Coon of Pacific State Bank was recently promoted to vice president and commercial loan officer of the Lodi branch.
Coon has been with Pacific State Bank for more than a year as an assistant vice president of business development and a loan officer. He has 16 years of sales development and lending experience, including indirect lending and leasing.
Coon is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School, attended the University of Maryland and Central Texas College. He serves on the board of directors of the Stockton Golf and Country Club.
Coon lives with his wife of 13 years, Cindy, and two children.
Pacific State Bank is a California state chartered bank formed in 1987. It operates nine branches in Lodi, Angles Camp, Arnold, Groveland, Hayward, Stockton, Modesto and Tracy.
Acampo man receives lumber awardVictor Vandenburg, a sales director at Building Materials Distributors in Galt, was named associate of the year at the Lumber Association of California and Nevada's annual convention in Indian Wells.
Vandenburg, who lives in Acampo, has been an active lumber association member and has served on the associates council and board for several years. He has been in the industry for 23 years and with BMD the past five years.
The award recognizes an individual who has over the past year provided outstanding service to the lumber association through promoting the industry, encouraging a better understanding of those quality products and services provided by associate members, participating in development programs, providing leadership and financial support.
The group is a trade association serving independent lumber and building material dealers and suppliers in California and Nevada.
Women's health is topic for business group
LaVaughn Breakfield, director of women's health and lymphedema programs at Delta Physical Therapy, will be the guest speaker at Wednesday's meeting of the Lodi-Woodbridge-Galt Women's Networking Group.
Breakfield will speak on lymphedema, breast health, pelvic pain, osteoporosis, post-cancer rehabilitation and incontinence.
Business women will also have the opportunity to network with others and hand out business cards and fliers.
The meeting, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will include hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar at Fernando's Restaurant, formerly known as Crepe Vine and Mambo's, 114 W. Pine St., Lodi.
