Spenker sets up shop in cyberspace
Updated: Thursday, August 19, 2004 7:38 AM PDT
Spenker Winery announced on Wednesday it has set up a Web site where customers can place direct orders for wine.
The Woodbridge-based winery, which planted its first vineyards in 1902, created the site with AgriDesigns, a local Web design company. The site features information on Spenker's wines and winemaking process, family and vineyard history and forms for ordering products.
"We're looking forward to serving our customers in an entirely new fashion with the online interface," said owner Bettyann Spenker. "We are also committed to continuing our current way of doing business."
The Web site can be found at www.spenkerwinery.com.
