Credit should be given where credit is due. My heartfelt thanks to Christi Kennedy Weybret and Ralph Lea for their time and expertise in writing the great article about my dad, Bill Green. They worked hard and they are good. Thank you so very much.

Secondly, I wanted to add that Bill Green and his wife, Amelia (Millie), had two daughters. The youngest is Gloria Ferrero Taylor. He also had five grandchildren, Bill Ferrero, Lisa Rempfer, Gail, Dean and Lane Pearson, three of whom are still Lodians. There are also five great-grandchildren.

He was a very dedicated family man. He passed away leaving us all with his many theories on life and people. He had so much love to give.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
