Tokay Tigers football players ready for brief reprieve after busy summer

Team to compete in final passing tournament before ‘dead period’ begins

After today, prospective Tokay football players get a brief break from the sweltering summer practices.

The Tigers travel to Elk Grove and compete in their last 7-on-7 passing tournament. They have faced roughly 30 to 40 opponents in tournament action, according to coach Louis Franklin, before the mandatory dead period begins.
