Churches throughout the Lodi area will have special Christmas Eve services, while a few will have services on Christmas day. Others will celebrate services Sunday.

Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, 1055 S. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi: Festal Eucharist at 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. Nursery care provided at 5:30 p.m. service.

Faith Fellowship, 500 Park St., Lodi: 6 p.m. service includes vocals, piano solo, Christmas video, carols, children's program.

First Baptist Church of Galt, 653 A St.: Service at 7 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Lodi, Pine and Central streets: Candlelight services at 5 p.m. with Pastor Glen Barnes and at 9 p.m. with Pastor Steve Newman.

First United Methodist Church in Lodi, 200 W. Oak St.: Contemporary service featuring NewSong at 6:30, contemporary and traditional service featuring NewSong and other soloists at 8 and traditional service of carols and lessons led by the chancel choir at 11 p.m.

Galt United Methodist Church, 571 C St.: Candlelight service at 7 p.m.

Grace Community Fellowship, Augusta and Orange streets, Woodbridge: Service at 6 p.m.

Grace Presbyterian Church, 10 N. Mills Ave., Lodi: Service with open Communion at 9 p.m.

Horizon Community Church: Services at 7 and 11 p.m. at Chabolla Community Center, 630 Chabolla Ave. No child care available.

Lodi Avenue Baptist Church, 2301 W. Lodi Ave.: Candlelight service and Lord's supper at 6:30 p.m.
