Tokay Shrine Club
Tokay Shrine Club held its 26th annual installation of officers Jan. 7 at the Omega restaurant.
Here's a list of officers for 2001:
- Thomas Kellogg, president
- Dwaine Sommer, first vice president
- Andy Peoples, second vice president
- E.K. "Bud" Shropshire, secretary/treasurer
- Herbert Hirschfeld, chaplain
- Charles Breckenridge, sergeant at arms.
The Board of Directors consists of Ellsworth Beckman, Virgil Griffth, Jerald Kirsten, Lester "Bob"
Cunningham, Larry Bednarz, Daniel Clark and Stanley Pokert.
The Tokay Shrine Club and Tokay Shrine Ladies Auxiliary provide support and assistance to the Shriners Hospital in Sacramento.
San Joaquin Genealogical Society
Newly named San Joaquin Genealogical Society officers will be installed when the club meets Thursday at Hazel's Restaurant, 28 S. School St.
Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. preceded by no-host cocktails at 6:30 p.m.
Speaker for the evening will be Dan Cort, whose topic will be planning restoration of old buildings.

Lodi Republican Women
The Lodi Republican Women's group and Stockton Republican Women's group will hold a joint meeting at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 23 at the Holiday Inn, 1111 E. March Lane in Stockton.
Speaker will be Joyce Stewart of Southern California, immediate past president of the State Republican Women.
The club will also hold a coffee for new members at the home of Carolyn Chatfield, 19292 Atkins Road in Clements from 10 a.m. until noon Feb. 12.

Flame Tokay Hospital Auxiliary
Flame Tokay Hospital Auxiliary recently held its installation of new officers for 2001:

- Linda McKay, Vice President
- Marion Goldberg, Secretary
- Gayle Solari, Treasurer
The next meeting will be at the home of Jan Dobler.
