Terrorism is a dead end

My big concern about the Middle East is money being spent as reward for terrorism by Saudi Arabia and other countries.

How much better would it be for Palestinians to accept a new state next to Israel, accepting Israel’s right to exist, and using money on social, economic and political considerations that better their lives and lives of their families rather than having a dead end of revenge, hate, terrorism and lack of responsibility for their future.

It makes more sense that Palestinians spend time and money on infrastructure of their own state, as other Arab states do not want them. This goes along with accepting Israel and its secure borders by all countries and the United Nations, so there can be cooperation with economic and agricultural sharing in the region.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
