In reference to all the letters about English vs. Spanish. Out of all of the nationalities here in America, the Latinos seem to be the only ones who don't want to learn the American language, English.

Even the Chinese teach their children English. It is also the Latinos who say they can't make it here. How do they expect to, if they don't learn the language of the country that they chose to live in? If I went to Mexico, France, or wherever, I would certainly want to learn the language so I could make it there.

The teachers have said the Latinos are lazy and don't have the motivation to learn our language. Why would they when they see their parents getting everything given to them? The Latinos also state they feel resentment here. Maybe it's because they get free money, free medical, government-backed loans at 6 percent, SSI for hundreds of dollars.

The American taxpayer who has paid into the system for 20, 30, 50 years and the American vets who have served their country, whether they believed in what they were fighting for, can't get 10 cents on the dollar that the immigrants do and they don't even have to be here legally.

Our children have enough of a hard time learning in school. Listening to two languages has to be confusing as hell.

There were 30 some kids in my class and our teachers didn't have to have subs. Could this be the reason? If these people who volunteered to come to the United States don't want to learn the language and be a part of America, then it's simple: Leave!

Unfortunately, Mexican President Vicente Fox doesn't want them back. He would like to see another 35 million leave Mexico so he wouldn't have to deal with them.

The American taxpayer doesn't see two paychecks out of four now because of all the taxes. How much more should they deprive their own families so that they can support other people and other countries. It's definitely time for another Tea Party. The American taxpayers have to learn to just say no.
