About the poet
Naomi Rodgers Peden Blue is the divorced mother of five grown
children. Her first poem, “Love,” was written between 1969 and 1972
when I was working on my master’s degree in elementary education.
At present, she has thirty hours plus above her master’s
She is a retired elementary school teacher. She has substituted
in two systems and one Catholic school here in California. She
reluctantly gave that up when the school closed in May of 2011.
She moved to Stockton in 1994 after retiring from 35 plus years
of teaching on the East Coast.
As present time, she writes Christian poetry. “Thoughts from the
Heart Book Four” should be coming out in the next few months.

Parents, please teach your children to always treat others the way they want to be treated.
If they do this all of the time, this would get rid of the bullying that goes on in schools day after day.
