Alfredo Renteria and Miguel Zambrano each had two goals to lead Galt High's boys soccer team to a 6-1 victory at Cordova in the Warriors' Sierra Valley Conference opener on Wednesday.
Israel Guardado and Alex Tellex each added a goal for Galt (6-3-1, 1-0 SVC) and Renteria, Peter Nizzoli and Diego Terrones each had an assist.

Lodi 3, Tracy 1
Erik Flores, Ruben Virdoza and Sammy Abu each had a goal for the Flames (4-1 SJAA).
Matt Council, Jorge Gomez and Joe Highfill each had an assist and Martin Zamora, Yonic Ochoa and Mike Bernasconi had outstanding games.
Tokay 1, West 1
Marcus Carloni had Tokay's only goal on an assist from Jordan Lawley.
Allen Cerecero had nine saves for Tokay (3-1-1 SJAA). Jeremy Hill, Jesus Cristerna, Juan Ramirez, Tyler Sinclair and Alex Kludt each had outstanding games for the Tigers.

Judy Machado shot a 43 and Amanda Riley and Shauna Grisler both fired 52s for Galt (2-1 SVC) at Dry Creek's par-36 course. Elisha Gibson netted a 54 and Makayla Perlot compiled a 57.

The Flames (7-0, 5-0 SJAA) took five of six matches in singles play.
Chelsea Bingham beat Ali Legakis 6-4, 2-6, 6-3, Ashley Adams backhanded Katheryn Ayers 5-7, 5-3, 6-2, Kelly Chiene defeated Brooke Agee 6-4, 7-5, Casey Hardwick beat Miroslava Dela 6-1, 6-2, and Trisha Hilder beat Jessica Gould 6-2, 7-5 for Lodi victories.
Davis' Kelly Kirkpatrick beat Nicole Duke 7-6 (10-8), 2-6, 6-4
In doubles, Ashley Samudio and Courtney Thomas beat Jen Rumery and Katherine Laumas 6-2, 6-4 for Lodi's only win. Natalie Colli and Barbara Thomas lost to Isabel Mott-Smith and Sarah Iyer 2-6, 0-6, and Jennifer Kupka and Lisa Cramer fell to Shaan Deegan and Moravia Delao 1-6, 1-6.
Galt 6, Cordova 3
Galt's Brandi Chadwell lost to Irina Tarayeak 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles play and Jamie Mendoza and Erin Dimas defeated Hewat Shankute and Dominque Casper 6-1, 6-3 in doubles play for the Warriors (2-0 SVC).

Jennifer Luis had seven kills, Karin Aschwanden had four blocks and Heidi Canepa added eight assists as the Warriors (3-3, 1-0 SVC) won in four sets: 5-15, 15-10, 15-8, 15-7. Galt's JV team lost.

Tokay 9, West 2
Zach Barnes, Cameron Heberle, Sean Dryden, Andrew Drake, Brett Hickinbotham, Taylor Broughton, David Alberg, Nick Ishii and Marc Doucette each scored for the Tigers (9-1, 5-0 SJAA) in Wednesday's victory.
Cross Country
Tokay vs. Stagg/Lincoln
Tokay's varsity girls ran past Stagg and Lincoln in a double dual meet at Grupe Park. The Tigers' Karlyn Nieland finished first individually with a time of 19 minutes, 28 seconds, as Tokay took five of the top six spots. Tokay's boys lost both meets. Lodi vs. Edison/West/St. Mary's
Led by Fran Stonum (2nd, 19:56) Lodi's varsity girls swept the meet at Legion Park. The varsity boys also produced a Lodi sweep, with Matt Kiesz (17:53) leading the way. For complete results, see Scoreboard.
