The gun club recently submitted a grant application to Friends
of NRA to help the newly formed Capital Christian High School Trap

field. In addition to supporting this group the gun club is also
the charter organization for Boy Scout Troop 581.
Friends of NRA has been generous in awarding grant monies for
various projects in the past. The most current were for a new
public address system, voice activated trap release system, heat
pumps, and ceiling insulation. In addition, the NRA recently
awarded the gun club $1,850 in range grant funds.

promotes the shooting sports, primarily trap shooting. Shoots are
open to the public, and are held every Monday, Thursday and Friday,
weather permitting, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. A hunter education
program is offered for a nominal fee. Instructor Myron Miller can

one lighted trap field. No hunting is allowed on the premises. Club
members have full use of the facilities. The clubhouse is available
to club members for private gatherings for a fee, on a reservation
basis. Anyone interested in becoming a member should either attend
a monthly general meeting, or come out and enjoy an evening ! of
shooting at one of the shoots. Club members and range officers are
always on hand to offer help to new shooters.
General membership meetings are held on the first Thursday of
the month at 7:00 p.m. at the clubhouse, which is located at 10100
Reigl Road in Wilton. For general club information and activities,
contact President Jim Kunz at 916-685-5340 or Vice-President John
