Galt 3, Oak Ridge 2

Justin Souza pitched a complete-game three-hitter and Wade Majewski had a game-winning two-run single as the Galt Warriors kept their playoff hopes alive Wednesday.

Johnny Allen added a single for the Warriors (17-8, 9-6 Sierra Valley Conference), who came into the day tied with Union Mine for second in the loss column.

But Union Mine took 2-of-3 from the Warriors in their head-to-head matchups this season, so the Warriors need to finish a game ahead of the Diamondbacks to advance to the postseason.

Galt has three games left in the regular season.
