This winter, when the lift lines at your favorite Sierra resorts become overwhelming, remember there is a sport that will take you miles away from the crowds. With a throttle and an engine, you can explore deep into the snow-clad mountains.

Throughout the region, there are businesses offering visitors the chance to climb high peaks and discover remote terrain. These adventures are waiting only two or three hours away from the Lodi area.
