Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism to be studied
At least two representatives of non-Christian faiths will be the guests at an interfaith forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday at United Congregational Christian Church, 701 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.
UCCC Pastor James R. Bo Crowe, who is leading the forum, has invited Rabbi Jason Gwasdoff of Temple Israel in Stockton, Rev. Ken Fujimoto of the Buddhist Church of Lodi and possibly a representative from the Hindu community.
Crowe, who has a doctorate in religious studies and was once a university professor, said the forum is intended for Christians to learn about other faiths without demeaning or demonizing the faiths of others.

Passion According to Luke at St. Annes
A one-man drama on The Passion According to Luke will be presented by Michael McNamara at 7:30 p.m. March 16 at St. Annes Catholic Church, 214 W. Walnut St., Lodi.
St. Luke Productions will provide a one-hour portrayal of the death and resurrection of Christ, taken directly from scripture. It will be accompanied by an orchestral score.

St. Christophers to have community dinner
The community is invited to St. Christophers Parishs annual buffet dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Littleton Community Center, 420 Civic Drive, Galt.
Dinner will consist of roast beef, barbecued chicken, tamales, pasta, Portuguese beans, potato and Jell-O salads, tossed green salad, rolls and homemade desserts. Raffle prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000 will be featured.

Handbell choir to perform next week
The California Lutheran High School handbell choir will have a mini-concert at 7 p.m. Friday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 420 S. Central Ave., Lodi.
California Lutheran High School, located in Riverside County, serves high school students for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, of which Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member.

Concert today at English Oaks
A former Lodi resident who is now a pastor in Siskiyou County will return today to star in an inspirational concert.
Singer Ralph Henderson and his family will perform at 5:30 p.m. today at English Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1260 W. Century Blvd., Lodi.
Henderson, who heads a family musical organization known as Call to Praise Ministry, lived in Lodi for 20 years before moving to Siskiyou County several years ago.
He is pastor at Scott Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church in Etna and youth pastor at Yreka Seventh-day Adventist Church.
