It never hurts to put current events in historic perspective.

The mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center Tower was a blind Muslim cleric from Egypt. He is now in prison, along with his crew of Jihad terrorists.

The first person suspected in the Murrah Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City was a Middle Eastern Muslim. After all, except for the Irish Republican assassins in Northern Ireland and the cocaine lords in Columbia, most of the bombings around the world were being done by Muslims of one stripe or another. That is still true today.

Suicide bombings by Muslim terrorists have a special incentive; the Koran promises each of the "martyrs" 72 eternal virgin maidens in the heaven they will go to for dying in a Jihad.

What amazes me is that there are not more bombings by impoverished young Muslim men who may not get even one virgin in this life. It is cause to wonder why one eternal virgin wouldn't be enough, but 72 is getting the job done and there is no shortage of volunteers. Can't argue with success.
