The Lodi Community Concert series will present "Romance and Ragtime-Gershwin and Joplin," performed by award-winning pianist Richard Glazier at Hutchins Street Square at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Glazier's performances throughout the country on television, radio, libraries and concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, The Cleveland Institute of Music and the Chautauqua Institution, have all brought rave reviews from audiences.

A complementary passion for Scott Joplin's music has led Glazier to research the creation of the pieces he performs. A master pianist, he not only enthralls and captivates his audiences, but inspires and educates as well.

A former student of Leonard Hokanson at the Indiana University School of Music, Glazier earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He is a Steinway artist.

Tickets for the entire Lodi Community Concert series are $50 for individual, $100 for family membership, and $15 for students (through high school). Reciprocal concerts are available. For ticket information, call (209) 368-7892 or (209) 368-9139.

Hutchins Street Square is located at 125 S. Hutchins St. in Lodi.
